Who is the Finish Fairy?

Welcome to Finish Fairy Quilting.  I'm Julie - the "finish fairy".  I've been quilting seriously since 1987 and professionally quilting for others since 1999. I used to own a quilt shop - The Quilt Block, in Sherwood Oregon and I still miss it!

My studio (my husband calls it the "quilting emporium") is in beautiful Sisters, Oregon - home to the largest and longest running outdoor quilt show in the world!  It's a quilter's paradise here (the picture above is taken from my studio!)

I live on 40 acres with my husband of almost 40 years, and my 3 wonderful dogs - Drexler, an  old Australian Shepard, Paisley, a French Bulldog and Finn a goofy mutt of Lab and Springer Spaniel descent.  No worries - the dogs aren't allowed anywhere near the quilts! We have lots of wildlife around including deer, bobcat, coyote, elk and hundreds of bird species. I often take inspiration for my own quilts from where I live.
