Happy Daisies Quilting!

This quilt is a king size! It was huge, but it fit on the longarm just fine. The pattern was from an older book by Judy Hopkins call Triangle Free Quilts. Look for one of the quilts in the book that I quilted for her! I've made this quilt a couple of times, but this one is for sure the biggest. I had a jelly roll of teal batiks along with extra fat quarters of the fabrics and just went to town!

Once the quilt top was finished, I wanted to some something fun and frilly on it. I chose the daisy and loops pantograph and used a heavier variegated teal thread for the quilting. I used a single layer of Quilters Dream batting on it.

Because it's so big, it's quite a heavy quilt - perfect for the cold winters we get here in Central Oregon!
